Locating and claiming dormant funds on behalf of Dutch or foreign clients (usually heirs) is one of Zondervan’s specialisms.
Klaas Zondervan, born in 1981 in Friesland is the owner of Zondervan Rechtskundig Advies, internationally called ‘Zondervan Legal’. He is registered as legal counsel with the Dutch Organization of Legal Advisors (NVRA) and mentioned in the Dutch Judiciary Guide as a legal advisor under registration number 57090. Zondervan has a private practice, handling contract law, property law and family law, but specializing in inheritance or probate law. That, of course, referring to not only the Dutch Civil Code, but to foreign inheritance or probate law as well, in particular that of the United States, Canada, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany and Portugal.
Many billions of unclaimed funds exist worldwide. This concerns funds derived from inheritances, but may as well concern bankruptcies, buy-out procedures of minority sharesholders, expropriation funds, funds to do with debt restructuring, trusteeships or war funds. Klaas Zondervan is of Jewish descent in the 6th degree and as such is particularly interested in Jewish funds, to do with the second world war or otherwise. By working together with international partners, Zondervan’s legal services can be offered worldwide; he is the trusted partner of attorneys and civil law notaries around the globe, often conducting intestacy research or obtaining documents. Apart from this Zondervan works as an executor, appointed in last wills by the deceased, as a legal liquidator (appointed by the court or not) and as a trust fund administrator.
